The two Greek companies are combining Hellas Sat’s operational experience and satellite ground infrastructure with Adamant’s expertise in the development and manufacture of space equipment.

Hellas Sat and Adamant Composites Ltd. announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), laying the foundations for a strategic partnership focused on the design and development of technology solutions, missions and operational applications in the Space and Defence sectors.
The partnership comes at a time of significant change, as the growing need for secure communications, sovereign space capabilities and advanced Earth observation services is creating new requirements while also opening up major opportunities for the Greek and European space industry.
Under the MoU, the two companies will explore, among other things, new mission concepts that use small satellites with advanced space technologies and multi-orbit architectures, with the aim of developing services and capabilities that can support critical government, defence and civil needs.
The strategic objective of this important partnership is to move beyond developing individual technologies and subsystems towards delivering complete missions and operational capabilities with high Greek added value and potential for international use.
The partnership will also focus on shaping integrated end-to-end solutions that combine space and ground systems with applications across land, maritime and air domains, strengthening the competitiveness of Greek industry in international programmes and markets.
Particular emphasis will be placed on identifying joint development and funding opportunities, at both national and European level, to mature technologies, develop prototypes, carry out pilot missions and, at a later stage, bring new solutions into operational use.
The partnership reflects the broader outward-looking strategic direction of the Greek space industry, building bridges between the domestic industrial base, satellite infrastructure and the international Space and Defence ecosystem.
