What is the INTOPTEO Project?
The INTOPTEO Project is a three-year Horizon Europe initiative focused on developing Integrated Optoelectronic Oscillators (IOEOs), an emerging technology designed to generate highly stable microwave signals for advanced space applications.
These next-generation technologies are expected to enhance the performance of future:
- Satellite communications (SatCom)
- Earth Observation missions
- Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN)
- High-frequency microwave and photonic systems
By combining photonic and electronic technologies into a compact integrated solution, the project aims to improve signal stability while supporting the evolution of future satellite systems.
Hellas Sat’s Role in the INTOPTEO Project
