Hellas Sat Joins Women in Aerospace Europe as Corporate Member
Hellas Sat has officially become a Corporate Member of Women in Aerospace Europe (WIA-Europe), reaffirming its commitment to diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities across the European space sector.
The membership was formalised during the Greek Space Tech Forum 2026, where representatives from the European and Greek space ecosystem gathered to discuss the future of space innovation, cooperation and technology.

Formalising the Membership at Greek Space Tech Forum 2026
The Corporate Membership was officially formalised during the Greek Space Tech Forum 2026, alongside Dr Christina Giannopapa, President of Women in Aerospace Europe (WIA-Europe).
The forum brought together leading representatives from the European space community and provided an opportunity to discuss the future of Europe’s space ecosystem and the importance of collaboration across the sector.
Supporting Europe’s Space Community
During the forum, Dr Christina Giannopapa, who also serves as Head of the Office of the Executive Director at the European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), referred to Greece’s contribution to the provision of European space services through Hellas Sat, highlighting the company’s role in supporting the utilisation of European space infrastructure.
This reflects Hellas Sat’s continued contribution to secure satellite communications and its growing role within Europe’s evolving space ecosystem.
